Codup is looking for a highly competent, business-savvy Senior Full-Stack Engineer with deep expertise in the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js) and Shopify development.

This is a strategic role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology and business and can balance hands-on engineering work with high-level thinking about product, performance, and growth.

As a senior member of our engineering team, you’ll lead complex projects end-to-end, shape our tech roadmap, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure we deliver scalable, efficient, and customer-centric solutions efficiently and with high quality standards for code and architecture.

What You’ll Do:

Ability to build scalable full-stack B2B E-Commerce applications using the MERN stack.
Translate business objectives into technical requirements and actionable solutions.
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and marketing teams to ship features that align with business goals.
Optimize performance applications, scalability.
Contribute to strategic planning, offering insight on how tech decisions impact the bottom line.

What We’re Looking For

3+ years of professional software development experience.
Expert-level proficiency with React.js, Node.js, MongoDB, and Express.js.
Solid experience building and customizing Shopify themes, extensions, apps, and integrations.
Strong understanding of e-commerce fundamentals, conversion optimization, and customer experience design.
Ability to interpret business needs and translate them into high-impact engineering work.
Comfort working in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, testing frameworks, and version control (Git).
Strong communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.

Bonus Points:

Experience with headless Shopify or Hydrogen/Remix.
Familiarity with GraphQL.
Familiarity with Rust.
Previous experience in a startup or high-growth e-commerce company.
Exposure to analytics tools, A/B testing and load testing.
