Senior Manager/Supervisor

Job Overview:

The HR Manager will lead the HR department and oversee all aspects of human resource practices and processes. This includes talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, HR operations, HR analytics, policy development, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will play a key role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives and fostering a high-performance and data-driven culture.
 

Key Responsibilities

  1. Talent Acquisition
    • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for technical and non-technical roles.
    • Partner with department heads to understand workforce planning needs.
    • Build effective sourcing strategies to meet tight hiring timelines.
  2. Onboarding & Orientation
    • Oversee the smooth onboarding of new hires in both local and international teams.
    • Ensure timely documentation and orientation sessions for new employees.
  3. HR Operations
    • Supervise employee record-keeping, attendance, payroll processing, and leave management.
    • Manage employee documentation, including contracts, confirmation letters, and other HR files.
    • Ensure timely execution of onboarding, confirmation, and offboarding checklists.
    • Maintain HRIS data accuracy and integrity across platforms.
    • Liaise with finance for payroll inputs, salary revisions, and deductions.
    • Oversee compliance with company policies, labor laws, and statutory regulations.
    • Handle audits and ensure the readiness of HR documents and processes for review.
    • Track probation timelines and coordinate timely probation evaluations.
    • Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
  4. Performance Management
    • Oversee the performance management process and timeline across departments.
    • Support managers in setting goals and conducting periodic reviews.
    • Track employee performance metrics and provide insights to leadership.
    • Ensure documentation and consistency in performance evaluations.
    • Work with leadership to implement performance improvement plans where needed.
  1. HR Reporting & Analytics
    • Build and maintain comprehensive HR dashboards and reports (e.g., turnover, headcount, hiring metrics, engagement).
    • Provide actionable insights to support data-driven decisions in workforce planning, performance trends, and HR strategy.
    • Analyze HR KPIs and generate regular reports for leadership reviews.
  2. Technology & Automation
    • Leverage AI tools to automate and enhance HR workflows (e.g., recruitment, performance tracking, onboarding).
    • Evaluate and implement HR tech solutions to improve efficiency and employee experience.
    • Ensure best practices in digital HR transformation.
  3. Employee Relations
    • Maintain a culture of fairness, transparency, and trust.
  4. Policy and Compliance
    • Develop and update HR policies and procedures.
    • Ensure HR practices are aligned with company values and regulatory standards.
  5. Engagement & Culture
    • Organize employee engagement activities, team-building events, and celebrations.
    • Promote Codup’s core values and a collaborative workplace culture.

Required Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 4 years in a managerial role.
    • Experience in a software/IT company is highly preferred.
    • Strong expertise in HR analytics and reporting.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, dashboards, charts, etc.).
    • Hands-on experience with HR automation and AI-powered tools in HR processes.
    • Familiarity with HRMS platforms (Zoho People preferred).
    • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills with close attention to detail.
